How We Plan a Clean Aerial Shoot

Planning the movement before takeoff

A strong aerial shoot starts with the story. Before we fly, we look at the location, the light, the safest takeoff points, and the moments that need scale. That planning helps every pass feel intentional instead of random.

We usually build a shot list around establishing passes, reveal moves, orbit shots, and transitions that can carry the final edit. The goal is to capture footage that already understands where it belongs in the film.

Why it matters

Clean planning keeps the shoot efficient, the movement smoother, and the edit stronger. It also helps us stay focused on safety while still getting the cinematic frames the project needs.
